Cycad Pro will assist in the application for all permits for indigenous cycads at the relevant department of nature conservation. Permits are needed for possession, purchase, sell, import, export and transport for all indigenous cycads. It is Law that all indigenous cycads be registered. This is due to the new NEMBA (National Environmental Management Act) legislation, Act 10/2004 and TOPS regulations (Threatened or Protected Species). It is therefore compulsory that all owners of indigenous cycads obtain new possession permits, as well as permits to purchase, sell, import, export and transport cycads.
