Doornpoort Community Policing Forum – Section 4. The CPF is not a security company, it is not the SPCA or part of Town Council either. It’s members are merely the eyes and ears for the South African Police. Working together with SAPS enhances the ability to combat and prevent crime. We are able to monitor, evaluate and advise the SAPS, who in turn become accountable to the community they serve.
Doornpoort Community Policing Forum. We have in place a system that works for us, outstanding standby teams who support our Control 4’s. Patrol leaders ensuring our safety and medic’s that are invaluable to our community. The nearby Crisis Centre assist us when needed, offering their time and unending support that is greatly appreciated by all. The recently started Fire Brigade has proven to be both effective and of great value during our “dry season”, the beginnings of a great community pulling together. Training courses are offered First Aid, firefighting, safety awareness, snake bites and treatment just to name a few.
