People Injured on Zambibush Slide. The Red waterslide at Zambibush Resort in Doornpoort, Pretoria will be out of order until further notice. Over the weekend of the 5th of December 2015 at least two people were severely injured when the red waterslide cracked.
One man injured his foot and arm, while another man, an overseas tourist, sustained serious injuries to his buttocks when they slid down the waterslide. Both men were taken to hospital. Click here to view the (graphic) images: http://rekordnorth.co.za
The local man underwent a skin graft on the heel, while the tourist’s buttocks had to be scrubbed under anaesthesia. They have since been discharged from the Hospital.
Zambibush Resort is still open to the public, but the red waterslide will be closed until further notice. All other facilities are still available.
Zambibush is open from Tuesdays to Sundays 10:00 – 17:00.
