POPUP Community Eye Clinics offer eye tests, advice and spectacles at very affordable prices, as well as upgrading of eyewear such as photochromic lenses, thinning and strengthening of lenses, and anti-reflective coatings. The Eye Clinic is able to claim from most Medical Aids.
POPEye offers an eye care service to those in need, and includes eye testing, advice and supplying of frames and glasses at reasonable prices.
POPUP (The People Upliftment Programme) consists of 3 clinics, namely POPMed (medical clinic), POPEye (eye clinic) and POPDent (dental clinic).
POPUP Community Eye Clinic facilities:
- Screening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 16:30.
- Testing on Thursdays from 8:30 to 16:00.
- Consultations include Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar measurements, Glaucoma Screening and a complete Optometric Test.
- Affordable Spectacles – single vision, bifocals, multi-focals, and more than 150 frames to choose from.
- Prescription Contact Lenses.
